CAV Ice Protection To Open Kansas City Area Ops Center

Salina, KS Center Will Relocate And Expand

CAV Ice Protection has announced plans to open a North American Operations Center at New Century Airport (KIXD) in Olathe, Kansas, near Kansas City. The company is relocating its North American headquarters after a decade in Salina, KS. The move has been planned since the fall 2012 and will be effective April 2.

CAV Ice Protection is planning to grow its new Operations Center in the Kansas City, Kansas, area by as many as twelve people, including engineering, technical, sales and administrative staff, Weaver added. Positions added will be in operations, sales, warehousing, distribution and product support.

“We are very excited to announce our new North American Operations Center in the Kansas City area,” said Ken Weaver, CAV Ice Protection Vice President – Sales and Marketing. “The transition will benefit our aircraft ice  protection customers through more efficient operations and better service. CAV Ice Protection’s on-going growth and future business plans will result in new ice protection products and services, greater support and expanded capabilities at our facilities in the U.K., Poland, Mexico and the United States.”

CAV Ice Protection is an expert in civilian, commercial and military ice protection systems involving more than 6,000 aircraft.
