Women In Aviation: Busy Agenda

Upcoming Events Filling Fast

Women in Aviation International isn't slowing down, and wanted ANN to let folks know that there are a lot of things coming up.

Some of the organization's highlights include their Midwest Regional Conference, the organization's Networking Breakfast, and next March's Conference.

The Networking Breakfast at NBAA will be, as always, a great time to compare notes and learn a few interesting things. It's worth the $20 and 7:30AM start time -- Wednesday, October 8, in Orlando (FL).

October 17 and 18 will find the organization in Wichita (KS), for "Women in the Aviation Heartland: Realizing Career Goals in a Changing Economy," at the Wichita Hyatt. Registration (members, $125) includes a tour of the Cessna factory, sessions with WAI Founder/President Dr. Peggy Chabrian, WAI Chapter President Lori Hefel, and aero-attorneys Laurie Edwards and Kent Jackson, among others.

The 15th Annual Women in Aviation Conference will be held in Reno (NV), from March 11-13, 2004, at the Reno (NV) Hilton. Meet Marion Blakey, FAA Administratrix, as well as the US representative to the ICAO, Ed Stimpson. Hear Rod Machado and Donna Hartley. The Convention will host some three dozen sessions in all, and the 15th Anniversary edition will be an event to remember.

There's more information on all these events, plus several we haven't mentioned, at the organization's website.
