Satellite Tracking And Onboard Data Systems For GA, Military Aircraft

Latitude Technologies announced Tuesday that their SkyNode S200 Satellite communication and tracking product line have received a European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC"10028910) that covers the Bell Helicopter Textron models 212 and 412 under type certificate H4SW.

"The addition of the Bell 212/412 EASA STC falls into our plan to provide our customers with the best quality and cost effective installation options worldwide" stated David Thomas, VP Business Development, "We continue down the path of providing a complete list of STC's for all of our Latitude products including the SkyNode, Universal Data Gateway, Email Gateway and IONode with all major international certification agencies".

This Bell 212/412 EASA certification falls on the heels of our recent announcements of Norway based Airlift AS's certification of the S200 SkyNode installation for the AS 332, SA 330, EC 225, AS 365 and EC 155 helicopters.
