SpaceShipOne Flight: NO ONE Was Closer Than ANN!

ANN Flies Aboard Space Ship One Chase Plane

Ya gotta admit it... ANN's Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, shows up in the darndest places... and for those who were watching the Beech Starship that shepherded White Knight and SpaceShipOne up to it's launch point, you were also watching Jim do his thing. Yup, "Zoom" was aboard the Starship, shooting some of the 400 high-resolution digital images that he captured that day. It was an amazing flight... a dramatic flight... and as soon as Jim gets a few moments rest, we'll tell you more about a vantage point that was nearly out of this world -- but also about as close as you could possibly get to the world's newest spaceship and astronaut. In the meantime, though, here are some amazing shots... now being seen around the world (Campbell shot the only air-to-air pool photos of the flight) and FIRST on ANN!
