Raytheon Names Jet Aviation Dubai As Hawker 800-series Authorized Service Center

Raytheon Aircraft Company has named Jet Aviation’s Dubai maintenance and FBO operation as a Hawker 800-series Authorized Service Center. The facility will start providing maintenance services for Hawker 800-series aircraft by mid-May 2006.

"Providing world-class service for our growing number of Hawker customers is paramount," said Randy Groom, president of Global Customer Service and Support. "The quality and reliability of Hawker products must be met with the same level of quality and reliability in our service and maintenance.  Adding Jet Aviation Dubai to our network of authorized service centers emphasizes our commitment to ensure that we meet and exceed our customers’ expectations."

Raytheon tells Aero-News that Jet Aviation Dubai will perform line and base maintenance, and provide warranty and spare parts support. Jet Aviation Dubai is the first business aviation maintenance facility at the Dubai International Airport, and its third location in the Middle East.

Jet Aviation Dubai features a total of 45,192 square feet of hangar space, a workshop area of 10,760 square feet, and a two story FBO building with an area of 11,300 square feet. The facility is also an authorized service center for Rockwell Collins and Boeing Business Jets.

Jet Aviation was founded in Switzerland in 1967. More than 4,500 personnel are employed in over 60 facilities and stations worldwide. The company provides maintenance, completions and engineering services, fixed base operations, along with aircraft sales, charter, and management on a global basis.

Raytheon Aircraft Company designs, manufactures, markets and supports Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft for the world’s commercial and military markets.
