Raytheon Aircraft Company has named Jet Aviation’s Dubai
maintenance and FBO operation as a Hawker 800-series Authorized
Service Center. The facility will start providing maintenance
services for Hawker 800-series aircraft by mid-May 2006.
"Providing world-class service for our growing number of Hawker
customers is paramount," said Randy Groom, president of Global
Customer Service and Support. "The quality and reliability of
Hawker products must be met with the same level of quality and
reliability in our service and maintenance. Adding Jet
Aviation Dubai to our network of authorized service centers
emphasizes our commitment to ensure that we meet and exceed our
customers’ expectations."
Raytheon tells Aero-News that Jet Aviation Dubai will perform
line and base maintenance, and provide warranty and spare parts
support. Jet Aviation Dubai is the first business aviation
maintenance facility at the Dubai International Airport, and its
third location in the Middle East.
Jet Aviation Dubai features a total of 45,192 square feet of
hangar space, a workshop area of 10,760 square feet, and a two
story FBO building with an area of 11,300 square feet. The facility
is also an authorized service center for Rockwell Collins and
Boeing Business Jets.
Jet Aviation was
founded in Switzerland in 1967. More than 4,500 personnel are
employed in over 60 facilities and stations worldwide. The company
provides maintenance, completions and engineering services, fixed
base operations, along with aircraft sales, charter, and management
on a global basis.
Raytheon Aircraft Company designs, manufactures, markets and
supports Beechcraft and Hawker aircraft for the world’s
commercial and military markets.
