Diamond Aircraft has announced
the appointment of Canadian Diamond Aircraft Sales Inc. (CDAS) as
the Diamond Regional Distribution Center for Canada.
Led by Solly Capua, President and CEO, Canadian Diamond Aircraft
Sales, CDAS, recently established as a wholly owned subsidiary of
Aviation Unlimited, will offer sales and service for Diamond's
single-engine DA20-C1 and DA40 Diamond Star, and the twin engine
DA42 Twin Star.
Mr. Capua holds extensive experience in the aviation industry,
with 6 years of military, 5 years of airline, and over 20 years
serving in the general aviation community through Aviation
Unlimited.
CDAS took delivery of a DA40-180 Diamond Star equipped with the
Garmin G1000 glass cockpit in March 2005. The aircraft represents
the first Diamond Star with glass cockpit delivered in Canada. "We
are excited about the dynamic line of innovative aircraft that
Diamond is producing," said Solly Capua in a recent interview.
"Diamond's advanced composite construction and aerodynamic design
offer a new level of performance that we look forward to offering
to our Canadian clients." CDAS (Aviation Unlimited) has a rich
history as one of Canada's longest continuously operating general
aviation companies. In addition to the Aircraft Sales Division, the
company is one of the nation's largest suppliers of parts, provides
corporate maintenance and repair service for piston, turboprop and
jet aircraft, and offers aircraft and crew management, ferry
services, and financing.
Serving their customers in all ten provinces and territories,
Canadian Diamond Aircraft Sales is headquartered in Markham,
Ontario, at the Toronto-Buttonville Airport.
