G3 With NEW Release 9 Glass Panel Upgrade Can Be Seen At Tampa
Executive Airport
The folks at Leading Edge Aircraft Sales in Tampa are getting
set to show off a Cirrus G3 airplane with the brand new Avidyne
Entegra Release 9 Avionics -- ready to fly.
Leading Edge is partnering with Sarasota Avionics to install the
latest glass panel upgrade from Avidyne. "We will have a demo
plane," David Modberg, President of Cirrus Aircraft Sales at
Leading Edge, tells ANN.
"We believe that our companies provide the very best solution
for this extremely intricate upgrade. Leading Edge brings ten years
of Cirrus Service Center experience to the project," he told us.
"Along with our years of service to the Cirrus customers we have
achieved may certifications including the designation of being one
of two Cirrus Super Centers in the country. To put our service
simply we handle the every day task all the way up to major
accident recoveries/removal which requires separation of the
fuselage from the wing."
“Entegra Release 9 is the culmination of years of research
and development and we are delighted with the results, having
created the easiest-to-use flight deck in all of aviation,”
said Dan Schwinn, Avidyne’s President and CEO on the Avidyne
website when the upgrade was announced. “Entegra owners now
have access to all the benefits of the Release 9 upgrade and they
only have to be without their aircraft for a short amount of time
in order to get it.”
An Entegra Release 9 equipped Cirrus G3 will be on the ramp at
Leading Edge Aviation at Tampa Executive Airport on July 18th from
1000-1700. Reservations are recommended.
By the way... ANN's own SR22 G3 Turbo is scheduled to be there
justr befoe heading off to the Holy land Of Oshkosh... with a
number of really cool new features that we'll be talking about in
the next few days, but if you see it be SURE to look over the
panel... you WILL be impressed.
