Ross Aviation Completes Purchase Of AirFlite At Long Beach Airport

Originally Built To Serve The Toyota Flight Department In 1989

Ross Aviation has successfully completed the purchase of the AirFlite FBO located at the Long Beach Airport in Long Beach, California on November 1, 2016.

The AirFlite facilities, built by Toyota in 1989, consist of a modern four story VIP executive terminal with a pilot’s lounge, conference rooms, VIP lounge, flight planning room, passenger lobby, crew rest area, computer work stations with wireless internet, office space and 132,000 sq. ft. of hangar space for aircraft storage and maintenance. The FBO was built to serve the needs of the Toyota Flight Department and will continue to support Toyota on a transient basis for storage and maintenance.

Ross Aviation embraces a system in which managers are granted authority to operate and optimize their business based upon the unique considerations and customer base of their locations. This philosophy will continue at the Long Beach location under the general management of Greg McQueary. “We are excited about completing the purchase of the AirFlite FBO from Toyota Motor Sales. This is an excellent addition to our growing chain of FBOs” said Jeff Ross, CEO of Ross Aviation.
