FlightPrep has
released ChartCase Premiere. ChartCase Premiere combines the EFB
(Electronic Flight Bag) tablet computer (Compaq TC1000), with the
ChartCase software installed. Said Roger Stenbock V.P. of Marketing
"ChartCase is your best EFB Value. For a fraction of the cost of
comparable products from the commercial electronic chart supplier,
ChartCase delivers all the IAP (Instrument Approach Procedures) on
CD, and online low enroute, high enroute, Sectional and WAC charts
for the entire U.S. from FlightPrep.com."
ChartCase Premiere
complies with FAA AC120-76A type B software application for cockpit
use on Class 1 & 2 EFB devices." ChartCase Premiere EFB is
being shown at the annual NBAA Convention, in Orlando Florida
at display 4016.
Includes Online Flight Planning
ChartCase comes with the "best flight planner in the business,
online or otherwise," FlightPrep. The Flight Planning
Wizard quickly plans your flight with the most current data and
files your flight plan for you. You get great weather products like
NEXRAD weather overlay and plain language METARs and TAFs. The
TripKit chart service delivers all your charts in a
convenient 8.5" x 11" PDF format for printing or viewing on
your PC.
Substantial Savings
Said CEO Kyle Everson "Flight departments enjoy a substantial
savings. Rather than expensive private label IAP charts,
you'll use FAA NACO enroute and IAP charts". When ChartCase is
delivered as software only, you'll also need one of the new
tablet computers or use your notebook computer as your EFB.
