Gone West: Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col. (Ret.) William H. Holloman, III

"Uncle Willie" Was Chair Of TAI's Sheppard Research Committee

ANN has received the sad news that documented original Tuskegee Airman Lt. Col. (Ret.) William H. Holloman, III passed away on Friday, June 11th at approximately 1000 PST at Valley Medical Center, Renton, WA. He was 85 years old.


Lt. Col. (Ret) William H. Holloman

Holloman, who was affectionately known as "Uncle Willie," was a member of the Sam Bruce Chapter, Tuskegee Airmen, Inc. (TAI)  in Seattle, WA, and numerous aviation associations.
 
He was a graduate of Class 44H-SE.

He faithfully served TAI for over 20 years in the capacity as Chairman, Harry A. Sheppard Research Committee.
