And the drama continues! Westchester County filed a Motion to Dismiss Million Air’s $30 million lawsuit against the County.
Million air is claiming ongoing breaches of contract and bad faith in relation to Million Air’s plan to modernize an aircraft hangar at HPN. The Memorandum of Law submitted by Yankwitt LLP rejects the County's reasons for asking that the case be dismissed. The firm details the County's repeated violations over four years of the approval process for new construction set forth in Million Air's lease. Terrafugia reveals the launch of a new brand, Commaris. The brand’s first product, the Seeker, is an electric, fixed-wing/VTOL hybrid aircraft designed explicitly for autonomous commercial aerial applications. The Seeker can fly for more than three hours without changing the battery, with top speeds just over 60 mph. The capabilities for the payload are up to 10 lbs. Assembly or disassembly is possible in the field in under three minutes. Boeing and Ireland’s Ryanair are involved in a rare public negotiation over the purchase of 737 MAX 10 jets, which Ryanair says has ended due to
differences in price. Ryanair is the region's largest customer with 210 of the 197-seat MAX-8 200 on order. Ryanair, toying with the idea of a potential $33 billion deal for an order of up to 250 of the MAX 10, has publicly ended the talk without an agreement being reached. Even with a steep discount, that order could still be worth up to $10 billion. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
