Event In West Michigan Will Benefit Wings Of Mercy

Fundraiser Celebrating Its 20th Year

All of West Michigan is invited to the 20th Annual Muskegon CareAffaire benefiting Wings of Mercy. The event will be held at Executive Air Transport at the Muskegon County Airport on Saturday, May 30 from 8:00 am to Noon.

Breakfast will be prepared by the Muskegon Host Lions. Tickets for the breakfast are $6 or $25 for a family of up to 6 people. Other attractions include a classic car show, static aircraft displays, formation flying performed by the Hooligan Flight Team, and lots of fun activities for the whole family.

New this year: The Chris Boes Memorial Ride organized by the M46 Posse. Watch them roar in for the pancake breakfast or ride along and pay tribute to Wings of Mercy recipient Chris Boes who lost his battle with cancer last spring. The cost to ride along is $10 which includes the pancake breakfast.

All proceeds will benefit Wings of Mercy, a faith-based, non-profit, volunteer pilot organization dedicated to helping people in need have access to life-saving healthcare by arranging free flights to distant medical facilities. Not only does this event raise much needed funds, it also helps the organization get the word out about the service it provides so they can better serve the West Michigan community.

Registration is now open for the 10th Annual Run For Wings 5K Run/Walk at www.goracego.com.  Visit the website at www.runforwings.org for more information.
