Recurrent, Instructor Courses Offered
AirShares Elite New England told
Aero-News recently about new training programs for pilots in the
AirShares Elite shared ownership program. Led by Neil Singer -- a
5,000+ hour Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and Gold Seal and Master
Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) with expertise in Technically
Advanced Aircraft training -- the programs will include safety
seminars, instructor standardization and expanded ground and flight
instruction.
The new programs, which build on AirShares Elite’s
existing FAA-Industry Training Standards (FITS) pilot training
courses, are designed to increase pilot safety, confidence and
proficiency. The new safety seminar series will cover practical
flying subjects exclusively for AirShares Elite pilots. Additional
safety seminars will be open to all pilots and the general public.
Instructor standardization will help ensure training consistency
for AirShares Elite CFIs.
"The new training programs are part of the AirShares Elite focus
on safety and on continuing to increase the already exceptional
level of value that our owner-pilots receive from the program,"
said Brad Rosse, regional director for AirShares Elite. "AirShares
Elite pilots will benefit from Neil’s TAA expertise, airline
background, outstanding instruction credentials and experience in
more than 50 different types of aircraft."
AirShares Elite New England reports it is also evaluating
several turbine-powered aircraft -- including very light jets
(VLJs) -- to add to the shared ownership program. Singer and
AirShares Elite New England expect to work together to develop a
turbine transition training program for high-altitude, pressurized,
turbine-powered aircraft operations.
"AirShares Elite is expanding its already excellent pilot
training with the new flight and ground instruction programs," said
Neil Singer. "The new programs are a tremendous resource for
owner-pilots to improve their flying skills and confidence. The
training programs really underscore AirShares commitment to safety
and value."
Based at the Hanscom Airport (BED) in Bedford, MA, AirShares
Elite New England serves pilots in New England and in south
Florida.
