Special Incentives Available To Falcon 900B Operators

Universal Avionics Offers Extended One-Year Warranty And ‘Early Bird’ Pricing On Falcon 900B Flight Deck Upgrade Program

Universal Avionics is offering special incentives for the next Falcon 900B operator to have their aircraft upgraded with the company’s retrofit flight deck package. Available through a partnership with Duncan Aviation, the upgrade program includes Future Air Navigation System (FANS) and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out capability.

The special one-time incentive is comprised of an Extended One-Year Warranty with the FlightAssure Extended Warranty Program, for all Universal Avionics products, saving an extended warranty cost of approximately $15,000, and “Early Bird” Pricing, saving approximately 10%. The installation must be contracted for installation at Universal Avionics Authorized Dealer, Duncan Aviation, prior to June 30, 2016.

"Universal Avionics and Duncan Aviation's upgrade program provides new technology that the Falcon 900B community has been asking for," said Bruce Bunevich, Universal Avionics' Great Lakes Regional Sales Manager. "The upgrade offers significant improvements beyond current new-production aircraft, and is specifically developed for minimal transitional flight crew training," he added. "The Falcon 900B upgrade package is a reliable investment in proven technology."

The upgrade also offers capabilities such as Satellite-Based Augmentation System (SBAS) and Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV), and Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC). The Falcon 900B avionics suite includes:

  • 5 – EFI-890R 8.9" Advanced Flight Displays, including one fully dedicated Engine Display (ED)
  • 2 – Vision-1 Synthetic Vision Systems (SVS)
  • 2 – Application Server Units (ASU) for Jeppesen charts, checklists and E-DOCS
  • 2 – UNS-1Fw SBAS-Flight Management Systems (FMS) with 5" Control Display Units (CDU) (third optional)
  • 2 – Radio Control Units (RCU) (optional)
  • 1 – UniLink UL-801 Airborne Data Link Communications Management Unit (CMU) with integrated VDL Mode 2 VHF Radio (optional)
