Winston-Salem NC Sets Air Show Dates In August

Dedicated To 100 Years Of Marine Corps Air Power

The Winston-Salem Air Show returns to Smith Reynolds Airport (KINT) on August 25 & 26, 2012.

Organizers say that the show offers a host of activities, vendors and demonstrations that will delight the entire family, from kids to seniors. Car shows, K-9 demonstrations, aviation displays, military re-enactors and lots more.

Focusing on a theme of a Salute to 100 Years of Marine Corps Air Power, the show will feature such aircraft as a Harrier Jump Jet, an A-4, Cobras and Hueys. There will also be a Marine Corps legacy flight with an F4U Corsair, A Sea harrier, and an A-4 Skyhawk.

Also participating are the Golden Knights U.S. Army Parachute Team and others.

There is 40% discount for early-bird tickets at all Lowes Food stores and online. Prices at the gate are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors. An adult can bring up to three children under 12 at no extra cost.
