Will Add Additional Capacity To Meet FANS Requirements
Flyht Aerospace Solutions has announced that existing customer Azur Havacilik A.S (Azur Aviation), based in Antalya, Turkey has selected Flyht to add additional capabilities to meet Future Air Navigation System (FANS) regulatory requirements.
This represents an expansion of the ongoing relationship between Flyht and Azur Aviation (previously announced October 17, 2017), with this additional Automated Flight Information Reporting System (AFIRS) hardware contract that is valued at $740,000, expected to be delivered this year.
The latest FANS technology will enable Azur Aviation to fly the most efficient oceanic routes to save both time and fuel, thus improving their global operations. “Flyht continues to provide advanced solutions to Azur, enabling our mixed fleet to reduce costs relating to long-range communication through innovative product design. Moreover, Flyht is not solely an equipment provider such as their competitors. Flyht also has the capability to generate the installation engineering package, which makes this co-operation so strong” said Salih Dinç, Azur’s Engineering Manager.
“We are excited about deepening our relationship with Azur Aviation, fostering a value-added partnership” said Jeff Rex, Flyht’s Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Mr. Rex added “In keeping with our strategic plans, the Middle East continues to represent a region where we feel Flyht can grow”.
Flyht’s customers who already have AFIRS installed can easily add a FANS solution utilizing an existing antenna, without the requirement of an additional antenna hull penetration.
