Chuck Norris's Stunt Double Credited With Saving Lives In Citation Incident

All Four Occupants Of Burning Plane Escape Unhurt

You probably don't know Kinnie Gibson.  But if you've watched the TV show "Walker, Texas Ranger," you've probably seen him.  He's the stunt double for the show's star, Chuck Norris.  Now, he's being called a hero.

The Waco "Tribune-Herald" reports Gibson was onboard a private jet that crashed just short of the runway in Mineral Wells, Texas.  The plane began to burn, threatening the lives of three other people on the aircraft.

Pilot Jeff Cook said, when the plane started to burn, the people inside couldn't get the door open.  He said the escape hatch was too close to the fire for anyone to get to.  So Cook says Gibson kicked the door three times, finally getting it loose and allowing all four people inside to escape.

Cook says, thanks to Gibson, nobody was hurt in the fire.  But he says the Cessna Citation was reduced to melted metal by the flames.
