Tiger Aircraft To Be Equipped With Amsafe Inflatable Restraints

Tiger Aircraft LLC recently named AmSafe Aviation of Phoenix, AZ as the exclusive provider of inflatable restraints in all Tiger aircraft.

The Tiger AG-5B will soon come with AmSafe Aviation Inflatable Restraints (AAIR) as standard equipment for 2006 models in the pilot and co-pilot seats and as an option in rear seats. The Tiger AG-5B is known for its incredible speed for its size, fuel efficiency, and excellent safety record.

"It only makes sense that our top quality aircraft are equipped with the best restraint technology. We want our pilots to have fun and be as safe as possible," said Mat Goodman, Tiger Aircraft’s Senior VP of Sales & Marketing.

Certification and introduction of the AAIR on Tiger Aircraft are anticipated toward the end of the year. In addition to AAIR, other standard features on Tiger aircraft include solid bonded honeycomb construction, rivetless aluminum skin, imported leather seats and renowned Garmin avionics.

"AmSafe is pleased to partner with Tiger Aircraft in protecting those who fly with the most significant safety enhancement available to the general aviation flying community," said AmSafe AAIR general manager, Joe Smith.
