New Leadership For Enstrom Helicopter Corp

Tracy Biegler Is Stepping Down As President And CEO

Tracy Biegler, CEO and president of Enstrom Helicopter Corporation has announced that he is stepping down from his position at Enstrom in order to pursue other opportunities. Biegler leaves the company on a high note, with large sales contracts in Pakistan and the Czech Republic.

Biegler will be replaced by Matthew Francour (pictured), who will be taking the position of Interim CEO & president while a replacement is sought. Francour is a 40 year veteran of Enstrom, having started in the engineering department in 1978. From there he moved on to lead the planning department, and most recently has been the Director of Manufacturing. “We have complete confidence in Matt as a leader for the team at Enstrom,” said Mr. Gong. “He has the full support of the Board and the Enstrom team, and we all look forward to helping him grow the company.”

“I feel confident the company is an excellent position, and I look forward to watching it grow,” commented Biegler. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Biegler started his career at Boeing where he worked as a flight test engineer and on the B2 stealth bomber program. He joined Enstrom in 2003 as an engineer and quickly rose to Director of Sales where he led some of Enstrom’s biggest programs to date in Thailand, Japan, and Peru. After serving as the company Vice President, Biegler was elected to CEO & President in 2014. His tenure comprised of some of the most profitable years in Enstrom history, and he was instrumental in returning Enstrom to the status of a mainstream helicopter manufacturer. “Everyone at Enstrom greatly appreciates everything Tracy has done for the company,” said Mr. Gong, Chairman of the Enstrom Board of Directors. “Tracy’s dedication to the company is unquestioned, and his leadership will be missed. We wish him well on his next endeavors.”

Enstrom has filled two additional executive positions. Stephanie Bergstrom has been appointed as the CFO for Enstrom. Bergstrom graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor in Business Administration degree with a major in Finance and most recently obtained a Master in Business Administration degree. She joined Enstrom in 2014 as a Senior Accountant and was promoted to Controller in 2017 after the prior CFO’s departure. In addition, Dennis Martin has taken over leadership of the Sales & Marketing department. Martin graduated from Michigan Tech University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After working in the auto industry, and in retail, he joined Enstrom in 2007 as a salesperson for the company. At Enstrom he worked various positions in the Sales & Engineering departments before being elevated to the Sales Manager in 2015. Martin is a commercial fixed wing pilot and a rotary wing pilot, as well as an FAA licensed A&P Mechanic. “With Stephanie and Dennis, I think we have put together an excellent leadership team, and I look forward to working with them,” commented Francour.
