Pilatus Celebrates 100th PC-12 Sold By Denver Dealer

Aviation Sales, Inc. Celebrates 'Centennial' Delivery

Aero-News learned Monday that Aviation Sales, Inc. celebrated the delivery of their 100th PC-12 aircraft. The milestone aircraft was delivered July 2 to a corporate owner to replace an older PC-12 purchased from Aviation Sales.

Located at Centennial Airport (KAPA) in Denver, CO, Aviation Sales has been selling and servicing aircraft since 1971 and has been an authorized Pilatus Dealer and Service Center since 1994. Aviation Sales was the first PC-12 distributor in the United States and has consistently been one of the top selling centers since the program’s inception.

The company’s territory encompasses the southwestern United States, including Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and southern California. Their 100th PC-12 delivery brings the worldwide fleet of PC-12 business aircraft to well over 700 aircraft.

“Aviation Sales has been an outstanding partner to Pilatus since the beginning of the PC-12 program”, said Thomas Hunziker, President and CEO of Pilatus Business Aircraft, Ltd. “They have first-class dedication to customer service, a wealth of PC-12 knowledge to share, and best of all, they are just great people to work with. Our family wouldn’t be the same without them, and we look forward to many more years of success together.”

Dave and Lou Domenico of Aviation Sales commented at the delivery; “Pilatus has grown from being a new player in general aviation circles to the standard of excellence. With the Next Generation PC-12’s revolutionary cockpit technology coming to market next year, the future for everyone involved with Pilatus looks brighter than ever.”

Representatives with Pilatus tell ANN the Next Generation PC-12 features a number of improvements, including a fully integrated Honeywell Primus Apex avionics system, a new cockpit designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA, and a more powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engine.
