FLIGHTS IN DIRECT SUPPORT OF FEMA HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF EFFORTS,
(B) AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS ARE DOD FLIGHTS IN SUPPORT OF JOINT TASK
FORCE KATRINA, (C) AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS CARRYING PROPERLY ACCREDITED
NEWS REPRESENTATIVES AND, PRIOR TO ENTERING DESIGNATED AIRSPACE, A

MISSISSIPPI COASTLINE. FLIGHT PLAN IS FILED WITH ATC AND FLIGHT IS
CONDUCTED ABOVE THE ALTITUDE USED BY RELIEF RELATED AIRCRAFT UNLESS
AUTHORIZED BY ATC, (D) AIRCRAFT OPERATION IS FLIGHT DIRECTLY TO OR
FROM AIRPORT WITHIN THE AREA OR IS NECESSITATED BY IMPRACTICABILITY
OF VFR FLIGHT ABOVE OR AROUND THE AREA DUE TO WEATHER OR TERRAIN AS
LONG AS PRIOR COORDINATION WITH THE AFSS OR ATC FACILITY NOTED
BELOW IS EFFECTED TO RECEIVE ADVISORIES REGARDING DISASTER RELIEF
FLIGHTS IN AREA, OPERATION DOES NOT HAMPER OR ENDAGNER RELIEF
FLIGHTS, AND FLIGHT IS NOT CONDUCTED FOR PURPOSE OF OBSERVING
DISASTER AREA, (E) AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS ARE AUTHORIZED BY ATC AND
ARE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH AN ATC APPROVED IFR FLIGHT PLAN.
FOR FLIGHT SAFETY, ALL NON-RELIEF RELATED AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS MUST
REMAIN AT LEAST 500 FEET ABOVE OR 1500 FEET LATERALLY FROM ALL
DISASTER RELIEF AIRCRAFT AND AT LEAST 500 FEET ABOVE GROUND LEVEL
EXCEPT FOR TAKEOFF AND LANDING UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY ATC. GULFPORT
AND MOBILE APPROACH/TOWERS ARE FULLY OPER- ATIONAL. THEREFORE, ALL
AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS IN AIRSPACE DESIGNATED BY THIS TFR MUST CONTACT

RECOMMENDS THAT AIRCRAFT OPERATORS CHECK NOTAMS FREQUENTLY FOR
