Kespry To Highlight Industrial Drone Solution At World Of Concrete Industry Show

Will Showcases Aerial Intelligence Capabilities For Construction And Mining With Partner John Deere

Kespry, the leading aerial intelligence solution provider, today announced it will be highlighting the addition of five customers and adoption of its technology in the John Deere dealer network at World of Concrete. The international event is the only large-scale show dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries.

Five new construction customers, including Fred Smith Construction, Ironclad Excavating, Fuller & Sons, Woolpert, and D&T Excavation have adopted Kespry technology to increase the accuracy and frequency of site surveys to better manage earthworks projects. These customers reflect the rapid adoption of drone technology in the construction industry, particularly for improving the planning, bidding and management of earthworks projects—key aspects of the Kespry and John Deere strategic alliance.

As part of its global strategic alliance with John Deere announced last year, Kespry will be featured at John Deere's World of Concrete booth located at C5351, where it's showcasing its drone capabilities for construction. Additionally, Kespry will be sharing its market-leading capabilities for mining and aggregates customers at booth C3936. World of Concrete takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center between January 23-26.

The Kespry platform for drone data capture and analytics uses AI and Machine Learning to deliver new insights and accelerate operations in industries such as aggregates, mining and construction. This complete platform enables customers to create and deploy missions for its autonomous drone with simple taps on an iPad and then easily capture, analyze and share survey-grade data and insights, using the Kespry cloud.

"Before deploying the Kespry aerial intelligence platform, a topographic survey of a large-scale construction site could take us up to two weeks," said Gino DiGiacomo, Professional Land Surveyor, Fred Smith Construction. "With Kespry, we can complete the data collection for a survey in hours and get the data into the hands of our project team within a single day. Kespry takes the guesswork out of measuring volumes and quantities. Importantly, Kespry also eliminates the safety and risk concerns involved with staff going out and walking active construction areas."

"The fact that Kespry offers an end-to-end, complete solution is critical for us," said Justin Geiger, Technology Specialist, Ironclad Excavating. "Kespry owns and manages the whole solution for us and the team is extremely responsive. The Kespry drone was so simple to set up and we love the fact that it all runs on an iPad and the data comes back so fast. Now, we can easily track production and provide information to the developers we work with so they are confident in our work."

A number of these new construction industry clients first engaged with Kespry through the John Deere dealer network. Kespry is the sole industrial drone platform vendor within John Deere's WorkSight portfolio. A growing number of John Deere dealers are using the Kespry solution as part of their complete earthworks solution.

"Kespry is the only complete aerial intelligence solution on the market today," said Matthew Bennett, General Manager, Technology, Meade Equipment, part of the John Deere dealer network. "Every customer and prospect I demo the Kespry solution to is very impressed with the fast data turnaround of the Kespry Cloud. Kespry's excellent customer support is another critical differentiator. Drone-based analytics are playing an ever-increasingly critical role in the construction industry and we're pleased to integrate Kespry's technology into our comprehensive portfolio for construction clients."

The combination of the Kespry aerial intelligence platform's ease of deployment, cost- and time-savings, and its interoperability with John Deere WorkSight made it an ideal offering for John Deere dealers nationwide.

"We are seeing strong interest in the Kespry aerial intelligence platform across the John Deere network," said Andrew Kahler, Product Marketing Manager, John Deere. "The Kespry system seamlessly integrates with John Deere WorkSight technologies designed to optimize machines and job sites while delivering productivity, uptime and low daily operating costs. We are incredibly pleased to have Kespry as part of our portfolio of game-changing products designed to serve those linked to the land."

Kespry is offering construction industry professionals the opportunity to use a free savings calculator that enables them to granularly understand how an aerial intelligence platform can cut costs as it enhances efficiency in earthworks projects.
