Cessna Showcasing Entire Current Production Citation Line At NBAA

New Citation CJ4 On Display Wednesday Only

Cessna has brought its entire line of current production Citation business jets at the 62nd NBAA Meeting and Convention.

Cessna Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Jack J. Pelton says the company remains committed to offering a broad and comprehensive product line, a favorable value proposition, a world-class service and support network and has been reorganized to be even more responsive to customers. "The Cessna you see at NBAA is a redefined and reshaped company, positioned to emerge from this downturn as an even stronger leader in the global business jet market," Pelton said.

"We finally see indicators that the economic free-fall has ended and our customers' economic health may have stabilized. Looking forward, business jet purchases and usage are expected to recover as our customers' confidence in the economy and their own economic outlook improve," he added. "Our industry will recover over time, but we anticipate a gradual climb back up rather than a quick rebound to the high production numbers some had predicted prior to the downturn."

On static display at Orlando Executive Airport will be the Citation X, Citation Sovereign, Citation XLS+, Citation Encore+, Citation CJ3, Citation CJ2+, Citation CJ1+ and a Citation Mustang. On Wednesday, Oct. 21 only, a Citation CJ4 will be on hand. An upward extension of the CJ family, the CJ4 is currently in the flight test phase of development.

The exhibit also will include two ValuePlus previously owned Citations: a Citation Excel and Citation V. A Grand Caravan and Cessna Corvalis TT will be on hand to represent Cessna's line of turboprop and single-engine piston models.
