'Killer Bonanza MSB' Details Revealed

Fly The Suddenly Not-So-Friendly Skies

04.01.06 'Special' Edition: When Cessna honcho Jack Pelton used the term "Cirrus killer" to describe his company's rumored new product to secure GA skies for metal airplanes once more, other legacy manufacturers may have thought there's something to taking an aggressive stance to maintain market share as well.

First sightings of the Market-Superiority Bonanza (MSB) suggest it can spout up to 600 rounds per minute from Browning machine guns contained in stealthy pods anchored just outside the main gear wells (see picture).

Utilizing the MSB mod the unobtrusive Bonanza pilot could easily clear a path through the traffic pattern for his/her Beechcraft brethren. Resurrecting the tremendously successful V-tail design may be Beech's way of saying "eat 60 years of continuous Bonanza production, buster!" to that composite upstart from the north.

Cirrus, Cessna, Diamond and other manufacturers were unavailable for comment, too busy building and selling airplanes.
