All the Cool Kids are Doing It
Piper Aircraft, the Florida-based manufacturer of legacy general aviation aircraft, has announced the addition of the L3Harris Flight Academy, the pilot-training institution with operations in the U.K., U.S. and Thailand, to its Brand Ambassador program.
Piper Brand Ambassadors engage in the high and hallowed social media sacrament of blathering on about themselves for purpose of calling attention to their individual pilot-training escapades and promoting the whole of the aviation industry. The program sets out to contemporaneously increase awareness of the flight training opportunities on offer at the L3Harris Flight Academy and showcase the proven, popular, and genuinely outstanding Piper training aircraft in use at the respected FAA Part-141 flight school.
The L3Harris Flight Academy is Piper Aircraft’s first non-degree seeking ambassador partner school, and the first flight school in the southeastern United States to join the program.
After passing multiple interviews that established their fitness for the distinction, Commercial student Garrett Winkler and Instrument student Emily Royster, were selected jointly by Piper Aircraft and the L3Harris Flight Academy to serve as the new ambassadors. In the persons of Garrett and Emily, L3Harris Flight Academy will join the University of North Dakota, Purdue University, and Minnesota State University at Mankato as a member institution of Piper’s Brand Ambassador program.
Piper Aircraft senior director of marketing and corporate communications Jackie Carlon states: “Each of these new ambassadors have a unique story and career path that led them to the aviation industry, bringing a different perspective to those considering a career as a professional pilot. Their passion for aviation and Piper products is palpable, and we are excited to watch them advance through their flight training. We have full confidence that these ambassadors will represent both brands well, and inspire future generations to embark on the many exciting career opportunities that exist within the aviation industry.”
