Aero-TV At Oshkosh 2009: Working Together - EAA and AOPA Joint Memorandum

Memorandum of Understanding - Joining Forces

It may be a match made in heaven -- or a future oil and water mix-up -- but for the moment, the presidents of the AOPA and EAA, Craig Fuller and Tom Poberezny respectively, signed a joint memorandum of understanding.

In the agreement, signed in the ceremonial AeroShell Square, both parties agreed to support each other's efforts to promote, protect, and expand the general aviation community.

According to the agreement, AOPA will encourage its members to support EAA's Young Eagles program as part of an effort to inspire younger generations to explore and pursue long-term commitments to the aviation field.

In addition, EAA will use its 'grass roots community' to support AOPA's General Aviation Services America program.
