Aero-News Proudly Introduces Our AirVenture 2006 Staff

Say Hello To Scott Wagner And Toni Wolfe!

With the final days before the official start to EAA AirVenture 2006 counting down all too rapidly... and, not quickly enough... ANN's senior staff is all-too-aware of the Herculean task ahead of us in reporting EVERYTHING that's news at The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration.

Fortunately, this year we'll have some help... and some really GREAT help at that. As we've already told you, Aero-News is bringing its largest staff EVER to AirVenture this year... and over the next several days, we thought we'd take the time to introduce you to the staff members -- both full-time, as well as our "stringers" -- who will be bringing our readers and listeners all the news that's fit to pixilate from Oshkosh this year.

And now, without further adieu...

Scott Wagner

Born into an aviation family, Scott Wagner has been in love with flying machines his entire life. A Third-generation aviatior, Scott is an Instrument rated Private Pilot, with flight time in over 20 aircraft types and has assisted in the construction and restoration of several projects.

As an active member of EAA Chapter 857, Scott enjoys working with Young Eagles and promoting General Aviation. When not aviating, Scott is an investigator for the Federal government,  and has experinece in broadcasting, information technology and telecommunications. He resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, Tina, and daughters Alyssa and Abigail.

Toni Wolfe

Toni Wolfe has over eight years of radio and television news experience as a reporter, anchor, producer, and photographer. In 1989, she received a Georgia Associated Press Radio-Television Award for Documentary -- Public Affairs. After a career in radio and television news, she moved into public and media relations at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). She worked for Georgia Tech for 10 years in public and media relations, served as faculty and Staff newsletter editor, video news release writer and reporter, and Web professional. In 1992, she received the Council for Advancement and Support of Education Award in the Audio/Visual Communications Category.

Currently, Toni is a senior marketing communications specialist providing internal communications, and Web design and content management, for a global electrical, engineering, and automation solutions company. Since moving to corporate communications nearly six years ago, Toni has received several awards, including Atlanta Chapter of the Society for Technical Communications 2002 Online Communications Competition Merit Award and 2003 Corporate Employee of the Year. Her passion is new and innovative technologies for online news, including audio and video podcasting. Toni also loves to travel, and while now she must travel via commercial airlines, she hopes to one day earn her pilots license.

Stay tuned as we introduce more of our stringers and staffers in days to come!
