Event Held November 11-16 In Zhuhai
Piper Aircraft and Hanxing General Aviation Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting a new unpressurized piston-powered Piper Matrix at Airshow China 2014, to be held Nov. 11-16 in Zhuhai. Piper's presence will be located at Booth C1-6 and the Matrix will be on outdoor static display at Hanxing's booth.
Airshow China, formally the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition, is the only international aerospace trade show in China endorsed by the Chinese central government. It features aircraft, trade talks, technological exchanges and flying displays.
This is Piper's first aircraft exhibition in China since the aircraft manufacturer received a Validation of Type Certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for Piper's top-of-the-line M-Class single-engine aircraft. The Piper M-Class series consists of the Piper Matrix, the pressurized piston-powered Piper Mirage and the turboprop Piper Meridian.
"Piper has been very active in China, especially in the pilot training arena," said Piper President and CEO Simon Caldecott. "With our most recent M-Class validation we are poised to assist as China continues to develop General Aviation infrastructure and provide easier airway access."
Piper Aircraft sales representatives in China for the Piper M-Class are Piper Summit Aircraft China Ltd. and Hanxing General Aviation Co., Ltd. In China, Piper Summit in Beijing has exclusive sales rights for the Piper Meridian and Hanxing General Aviation Co. in Zhuhai has exclusive sales rights for the Piper Matrix.
