Heli-Expo 2006: Flightsafety Introduces New Graphical Flight Simulator LNV

FlightSafety International is demonstrating its new Graphical Flight Simulator-LNV at Heli-Expo 2006.

The Graphical Flight Simulator LNV uses FlightSafety’s full flight simulation software, touch screen technology, a high fidelity control loading system and the new VITAL X visual system. The visual system features the newest PC based visual technology and a multi channel Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) projector that displays high-resolution images on a cylindrical front projection screen.

The cockpit layout and controls of FlightSafety’s Graphical Flight Simulator LNV can be designed and configured for a wide variety of helicopter and fixed wing aircraft types and numerous training objectives including fire fighting, law enforcement, search and rescue, emergency medical services and maintenance training.

The Graphical Flight Simulator LNV is easily transported and can be operated from a fixed training site or inside a trailer or portable container. The training system is designed for resource sharing between flight departments or organizations. Multiple Graphical Flight Simulator LNV trainers can be linked for real-time collective training through an on-site centralized control station.

FlightSafety International is the world’s premier aviation training organization. Over 75,000 pilots, technicians and other aviation professionals train at FlightSafety facilities each year.
