Milestones -- ANN On Cusp Of Major Event

From Real-Time Online News To Podcasting and Aero-TV, ANN Has Set THE Standard, EVERY DAY

Call it 'Mission (Continuously) Accomplished' as ANN completes its first 10 Years of non-stop online Aero-Info. That's right, the Aero-News Network is about to start celebrating its first 10 years of providing the aviation community with uninterrupted online news 24 hours every day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. During the past decade, ANN has continually been at the forefront of the delivery of Real-Time aviation news online, adding audio podcasts and daily video from wherever aviation news is happening.

ANN has produced over 130,000 individual stories for publication online, EVERY DAY, since it's Real-Time inception in 1999 (though aspects of the ANN mission were online as early as 1993 -- when working with the nascent web structure was a real adventure). As technology developed, ANN stayed on the cutting edge of online news delivery.

ANN At Work... And Play

The first serious adopters of multi-media content in aviation news, nearly 3,400 audio features have been made available for download since podcasts were added in 2004. And with the advent of Aero-TV in 2007, ANN has already produced nearly 600 video features. It is a record without equal ANYWHERE in the aviation industry, and most other industries, for that matter. Others do try to copy it... but no one has equaled the record in terms of capability, quantity, quality or (most importantly) our passionate comittment to the welfare of the aviation world.

Aero-TV Has Upgraded The ANN Revolution Dramatically

ANN has brought the aviation world unmatched coverage of the industry's biggest events. We were the first to bring you daily, continuous coverage of AirVenture in Oshkosh and so many more events, while our reporters, editors, and video crews consistently bring you the best in-depth coverage of the annual NBAA Meeting and Convention, AEA Convention, ICAS Convention, and the AOPA Aviation Summit, as well as other premier aviation events across the country.

ANN's Jim Campbell -- Working in Zero-Gravity

As technology has continued to evolve, ANN has kept up with innovations in content delivery. We were the first to use Twitter and other social media technologies to bring you breaking news. And ANN will continue to innovate to bring you the best possible coverage of the aviation industry, from ultralights and LSA's to the latest innovations in business jets, commercial airliners, and aerospace.

ANN's Paul Plack -- Ready To Fly

A new site design is in the works and strategic alliances are being formed that will DRAMATICALLY expand upon and further solidify ANN's position as the industry leader in online aviation news delivery.

ANN's Tom Patton -- Working An Interview

But... as we come to this milestone and what it means to those of us at ANN HQ, we'd like to invite YOU to tell us about your experiences with ANN... what you like, what you don't, and what you want to see for the future... as well as any stories you might have about interacting with ANN or the information we have presented over the last 3650++ days.

ANN's Sarah Curtiss -- Heading For Serious Heights

We'd appreciate it if you'd send us your comments ASAP for inclusion in some of the stories and memories we'll be posting, shortly, in commemoration of this amazing event.
