ANN Heads to HAI's Heli-Expo This Weekend!

HELI-EXPO 2003: 55th Annual Conference and Exhibition

On the road again... ANN's folks are heading out for the center of the rotorcraft universe (this week, at least) in order to cover the 2003 Heli-Expo. This year, the Helicopter Association International (HAI) will welcome nearly 450 exhibitors and over 12,000 attendees to the largest civil helicopter industry trade show in the world, hosted this time around at the Dallas Convention Center and Wyndham Anatole Hotel in Dallas, Texas.

In either civilian or military terms, if the wing swings, this is the place to be. A number of aircraft announcements are expected and several exciting projects will be updated... so be sure to keep an eye out for our special coverage, starting Sunday night.

Of special note every year is HAI's annual "Salute to Excellence" awards banquet, in which the industry recognizes 13 exceptional individuals for invaluable contributions to the civil helicopter industry. The 2003 "Salute to Excellence" awards banquet will be held on Tuesday, February 11, from 8:00 p.m. until midnight at the Wyndham Anatole Hotel.
