Figures Validate Company’s Success
Coming off a very
successful 2004, Cirrus Design Corporation sold and delivered the
most aircraft in the company’s history. CIRRUS continued its
growth in the first quarter of 2005 as the technologically advanced
personal aircraft manufacturer exceeded its target for the
period.
CIRRUS announced a substantial 27% increase in first quarter
deliveries over the same period in 2004, according to Executive
Vice President of Sales and Marketing John M. Bingham. CIRRUS
President and CEO Alan Klapmeier said, “Without the
overwhelming dedication and hard work of our employees this
unprecedented growth would not be possible.”
New purchase orders for CIRRUS aircraft were well above first
quarter projections, according to Bingham. “CIRRUS is
securely situated to grow its status as a global organization
committed to building aircraft of unparalleled quality and
performance,” he said.
“The outstanding support of worldwide clients interested
in the freedom of personal transportation has positioned CIRRUS as
one of the leading manufacturers of single-engine airplanes in the
world.”
Bingham said the CIRRUS sales team had also increased in recent
weeks to accommodate a more rapid response to increased requests
for demonstration flights, fleet sales, and new market
opportunities. “With the increase in deliveries,” said
Bingham.
“CIRRUS will continue to add new team members to the sales
force, and grow our support staff in the areas of Customer Service
and Field Service.”
