Signature Flight Support Offers Self-Serve Fuel At KSBA

Self-Serve Fuel To Benefit Recreational Pilots And The General Aviation Community In Santa Barbara, CA

Signature Flight Support, a BBA Aviation company, has received approval from the Santa Barbara Airport Director to purchase the only existing Self-Service AvGas 100LL facility at the Santa Barbara Airport (KSBA) in Santa Barbara, California.

The self-service fuel facility, expected to be officially servicing Signature's customers in the coming weeks, will offer recreational pilots an additional option for refueling their aircraft. Signature's Self-Service customers will benefit from an enhanced service experience, including complimentary parking on Signature's transient ramp for the day of fueling and pedestrian access to and from the Airport Operations Area (AOA) via Signature's FBO facilities. Full-service customers will continue to receive additional benefits, such as crew car use and Signature TailWins rewards.

"Signature's thrilled to be able to offer pilots another opportunity, in addition to Signature's Weekend TakeOff AvGas discount programs, to save on their fuel purchases," said Maria A. Sastre, President and Chief Operating Officer for Signature Flight Support, "Signature continuously works with suppliers to ensure a consistent and dependable supply of AvGas is available to general aviation customers. We're confident that this additional self-service AvGas facility further expresses our commitment to both the local Santa Barbara pilot community and general aviation community as a whole."

For the last 20 years, Signature, the largest supplier of AvGas, has offered discounts on the weekends through their Weekend Takeoff program and loyalty rewards through their Signature BlueSky program, which offers 10X Signature TailWins rewards points for every gallon of AvGas purchased. The addition of this self-service AvGas fuel facility, Signature's 14th such installation, is a testament of Signature's sensitivity to general aviator's needs.

Signature has proudly operated at the Santa Barbara airport for two decades and continues to provide best-in-class service to all pilots who frequent the facility and welcomes new visitors to experience them and enjoy utilizing the self-service facility.

Signature provides self-serve AvGas at 14 locations within its North American network: Asheville, NC (AVL), Broomfield, CO (BJC), Frederick, MD (FDK), Greensboro, NC (GSO), Hilton Head, SC (HXD), Lafayette, LA (LFT), Rochester, MN (RST), Santa Barbara, CA (SBA), Santa Fe, NM (SFE), Trenton, NJ (TTN), West Palm Beach, FL (F45), Winston-Salem, NC, (INT), Waukegan, IL (UGN) and Williston, ND (ISN).
