Piper Aircraft Inc. selected Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, as Piper’s dealer for new aircraft sales in Alaska, northern California, Oregon and Washington. The appointment is effective immediately.

“As Piper strengthens its global dealer network, we are delighted to be able to add a Greenwich AeroGroup company and the terrific sales team at Western Aircraft to represent the company’s product line in this important strategic region of the Americas,” said Randy Groom, Piper’s executive vice president. “We were attracted to Western Aircraft by its stellar reputation in new aircraft sales and we are eager to work with its sales team to grow Piper’s market share in the northwestern United States.”

Greenwich AeroGroup President and CEO Jim Ziegler said, “Western Aircraft is looking forward to selling the new single-engine PiperJet Altaire and Piper’s outstanding single-engine M-Class airplanes and the other aircraft in its strong stable of efficient airplanes.”
