Flight Explorer Adds Canadian Weather

Flight Explorer®, the real-time flight tracking and weather information service, has added data and graphics depicting Canadian weather patterns to its flagship product, Flight Explorer Professional™.

The announcement was made at the Canadian Business Aviation Association’s 42nd Annual Convention in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The new service will include data from Canadian weather radar and infrared satellite imagery. It will enable users to pinpoint the weather in a small geographic region of the country –- as small as 2 kilometers -– to get the most accurate weather picture possible.

The weather data will be updated every 15 minutes and provide the same level of detail as the U.S. weather offering.

Walt Kross, CEO of Flight Explorer, said, "Flight Explorer has an important and growing market in Canada. We have been able to provide flight tracking information for that country for many years.  In response to customer demand from our northern neighbors, we are excited now to add precise and accurate weather to the service."
