ERAU, Wings Aviation Join Forces

Degrees Available For Wings Students, Flight Training Available For ERAU Students

The Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis grew just a bit closer this week as Wings Aviation, St. Paul’s premier flight school, joined forces with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Minneapolis campus.

This new alliance will provide the flight school students at Wings the opportunity to pursue four-year undergraduate degrees, Master’s Degrees and even Doctorate Degrees through Embry-Riddle’s courses in aeronautical sciences. Students enrolled in Embry-Riddles programs can now take advantage of the flight training delivered in Wings Aviation’s fleet of aircraft.

Wings Aviation features the latest avionics and aircraft platforms from Cirrus Design and Cessna, and advanced training for adverse attitude recovery in Citabria and Extra 300 aircraft. In addition, the instructors at Wings Aviation can train pilots in the newest Light Sport Aircraft from REMOS. This new category provides students the opportunity to earn a Sport Pilot Certificate in as few as twenty hours, with no medical exam required.

Jeff Dalton, Chief Pilot at Wings Aviation expressed excitement at the new relationship: “We’re thrilled to be able to seamlessly offer the degree programs of Embry-Riddle in combination with the professional flight training to our student pilots. This will open doors to student pilots from all over the United States to rapidly grow their aviation careers with the highly rated offerings we can each deliver.”

Wings Aviation’s professional Certified Flight Instructors provide the complete start-to-finish training to get students into aviation careers worldwide. With the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University degree programs now part of the mix, student pilots from around the country can take advantage of this powerful training opportunity to launch careers in a variety of aviation specialties.

Keith Rittenberry, Director of Academic Support at ERAU, said “We are pleased to be associated with such an innovative and forward-thinking flight school as Wings Aviation, and we expect great results for our students as they pursue their aviation careers and advancement in this industry.”

With degree programs in Aeronautical Sciences, Aviation Maintenance Management, Space Operations and Aviation Safety, Embry-Riddle leads the industry and has earned global recognition in academic excellence.
