Drone Store Looks For Thief Who Took A $1,000 Aircraft

Offering A Reward For Information About The Suspect

A drone retailer in Colorado Springs, CO is offering a reward for information about a man who stole a $1,000 aircraft from the store on Tuesday.

The incident happened at DroneNerds in Colorado Springs. Television station KXRM reports that the suspect entered the store Tuesday evening wearing a blue Marine Corps jacket. He is seen on security video wandering around the store until no one is looking, and then takes off with the drone. The theft was noticed in minutes by store employees, according to the report.

DroneNerds is offering a cash reward of $100 and an $800 drone for anyone offering information leading to the apprehension of the suspect.

The store is also looking into beefing up its security measures to prevent future thefts.
