Presented Annually Since 2006 By The Baltic Air Charter Association
The 2014 BACA (Baltic Air Charter Association) Excellence Awards are to be presented during the BACA Autumn Luncheon at Guildhall on Thursday, October 30th. The Annual BACA Awards are presented to companies that have distinguished themselves through their commitment to quality and service within the air charter industry.
The BACA Excellence Awards were first introduced in 2006, with five industry categories. They have grown in stature to become the pinnacle of recognition in the air charter industry.
Nominations for the BACA Excellence Awards were made earlier this year and the three most popular nominees in each category have been put forward as finalists. BACA members have been given the opportunity to vote for the finalist of their choice and the winners will be announced at the Awards lunch on 30th October. The process has been conducted online via the BACA website and done in such a way that each member has one opportunity to vote for the finalist of their choice.
The categories for the 2014 BACA Excellence Awards are:
- Best Passenger Charter Airline sponsored by Aviation Charter
- Best Cargo Charter Airline sponsored by Chapman Freeborn
- Best General Aviation Operator sponsored by Direct Air Charter
- Best Handling Agent / FBO sponsored by London Executive Aviation
- Global Excellence Award sponsored by ACS
- The BACA Humanitarian Award - sponsored by DHL and judged by the BACA Council
The Winners will be announced at the BACA Excellence Awards Luncheon, which takes place in the stunning Great Hall, of London Guildhall, one of the most spectacular event rooms in the City of London on Thursday 30th October.
This year the Awards luncheon will be supporting the BACA charity, Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), who provide air transport to needy communities around the world.
