One Dead, One On Run After JFK Shoot

Fight Outside Terminal Supposedly Over Drugs

ANN REAL TIME NEWS: 1522 EDT (NEW YORK) -- One man is dead, another on the run after a dispute between supposed friends erupted in gunfire at New York's JFK Airport.

The incident comes just one day after a security breach forced the evacuation of two terminals there. In that incident, a man who breached security still hasn't been caught. A Delta flight to Orlando was evacuated and searched Friday morning. Though authorities wouldn't say why the Orlando flight was evacuated, they did indicate it was related to Thursday night's incident at JFK.

In this latest instance, New York/New Jersey Port Authority Police say a man and his girlfriend were driving a third person to the airport when the two men started fighting. There was shooting inside the car. The suspect told the woman to drop him off at the terminal, where he hailed a cab and disappared.

The woman then drove the victim to a friend's house near the airport. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
