True Blue Power Announces Series of High-Powered USB Charging Ports

Two New Power Converters Also Added To The Product Line

True Blue Power has announced the TA202 Series High Power USB Charging Port, the latest addition to the company’s popular line of USB chargers.

The TA202 Series simultaneously provides 3 amps of power per charging port. Available in single and dual USB Type-A and Type-C configurations, the high-powered units charge current and next-generation personal electronic devices, including phones, iPads and laptops.

The company has also rolled out two new converters to deliver power to cabin electronics and personal devices, and provide direct replacement for Ameri-King converters.

The TC120 features adjustable output voltage, supplying up to 120 watts of 5 to 18-volt power to electronic equipment, including lighting, USB charging ports and cabin accessories.

The TC280 converts the aircraft’s 115 VAC power to 28 VDC, delivering 280 watts of 28-volt power to in-seat, cabin and cockpit applications throughout the aircraft.

The True Blue Power TC120 is a direct replacement for Ameri-King converters AK-551-9, AK-551-9M, AK-551-9M1 and AK-551-9M2, following the FAA recommendation to remove Ameri-King products  manufactured or shipped after December 28, 2015.

Engineered to power cabin electronics, aircraft equipment and personal electronic devices (PEDs), the new True Blue Power converters offer flexible mounting options in the aircraft floor, wall or ceiling. Both converters are FAA TSO certified and RTCA DO-160G qualified.

The TC120 and TC280 converters join a growing list of True Blue Power products, including inverters, USB charging ports, emergency power supplies, and lithium-ion aircraft batteries
