Upgraded: Glenn Cobb Joins Groen Brothers Aviation As Sales Manager

Groen Brothers Aviation, Inc. (GBA) has appointed Glenn Cobb to be the Sales Manager for their American Autogyro division. Cobb comes to GBA after nine years as the President and CEO of the Sandy Area Chamber of Commerce. Prior to 1996, he served as the President of the Utah State Chamber, an association of chamber presidents throughout the state. He has also served as a board member for a number of organizations, including the Employer’s Support for the Guard and Reserve and the Boys and Girls Club of Sandy.

Cobb says he’s thrilled to join the GBA team. Since his first ride as a young boy in a Cessna Skymaster, he has been fascinated with flight. Cobb received his pilot’s license after joining the U.S. Air Force at the age of 17, and has since gained tremendous experience as a fixed wing pilot, sailplane and tow pilot, and skydiver.

“I’ve always enjoyed being in the air,” Cobb said. He is now working towards his gyroplane rating flying the SparrowHawk II.

Cobb brings important insight to GBA’s American Autogyro division. Following the recent release of the updated SparrowHawk II gyroplane, GBA is thrilled to have someone of his experience and expertise to head the sales division for this product.

“I think Glenn is a great addition to our sales team, working with our 33 SparrowHawk dealers worldwide,” said Al Waddill, Vice President of Sales at GBA.
