Most moviemaking requires some kind of conflict to hold an audience, but some current and former NTSB investigators say that director Clint Eastwood took too much artistic license to create dramatic tension in his movie "Sully" about the "Miracle on the Hudson."

According to a report appearing on Quartz online, the movie portrays the NTSB as being adversarial with Sullenberger during its investigation, saying he could have landed the airliner at a nearby airport. However, in simulations conducted by the NTSB, that outcome was only achieved eight out of 15 times, and that did not take the pilot's reaction into account. An agreement has been signed between China and Antonov in Ukraine to restart production of the AN-225, recognized as the world's largest airplane. In a short news release posted on the Antonov website, the company said it signed the agreement in August with the Aerospace Industry Corporation of China. The International Council of Air Shows Foundation has named its honorees for induction into the ICAS Foundation Air Show Hall of Fame class of 2016. The inductees named are, pyrotechnic experts Rich and Diana Gibson, aerobatic pilot Greg Poe, and air boss, pilot, announcer and air show organizer, Larry Strain. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
