It won't be long before the ability to operate an unmanned aerial vehicle will become an in-demand skill for college graduates ... and several colleges and universities are not waiting for the FAA to make up its mind about how it is going to proceed.

Jobs could range from drone delivery services to journalism and real estate. A report last year from the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International predicts that UAVs could be directly or indirectly accountable for as many as 100,000 new jobs by 2025. A NIMBY/community group in Bucks County, Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit naming the FAA, the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders and Frontier Airlines as defendants citing noise from airplanes flying over their homes. The suit claims that the FAA did not complete a comprehensive environmental analysis before authorizing commercial passenger service at Trenton Mercer Airport. Hartzell Propeller Inc. has been selected by John Klatt Airshows as the propeller technical partner for upcoming air show demonstrations featuring the Jack Link's ‘Screamin' Sasquatch Jet Waco.
