Patriots Owner Loans His Plane To The U.S. Navy

Flew The Navy Football Team To Its Bowl Game In Memphis, TN

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft loaned the team's official plane to the U.S. Navy to transport the Navy football team to Memphis, TN where they will face Kansas in the Liberty Bowl Tuesday.

MSN reports that there is a history between the Patriots and the Navy football program for many years. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick's father was a scout for the Navy Midshipmen for more than 30 years.

The plane is an A320 decked out in Patriots livery.

And who knows. Maybe the next Tom Brady or Rob Gronkowski was among the Midshipmen traveling to Memphis on the plane.
