R.I.P. Ken Lewis

Tireless Fighter for College Park Airport

My dad, Ken J. Lewis , (82) former president of Save The Airport at College Park (MD), passed away this morning (2/13/03) at 5:55am.

He wishes to have his ashes on the College Park Airport grounds and a plaque to which he gave so much to Save the Oldest Operating Airport in the World. --His son, Roger Lewis

[Folks, we're saddened to hear of Roger's and all of our, loss. Heaven knows we need more people like Mr Lewis, trying to preserve our GA airports, too. Our prayers and wishes go to Mr Lewis's family, and to his many friends at the airport  --ed.]

Memorial services will be held at the First United Methodist Church Marion at Gill street Punta Gorda (FL), on Tuesday Feb 18th, 2003 11:00 am.
