Five Year Deal Worth Over $37 Million

The US Navy has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation a contract to provide maintenance for both E-2C Hawkeye and C-2A Greyhound aircraft at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Patuxent River, MD.

The firm-fixed-price contract is worth more than $37 million dollars over five years.

Per the terms of the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide aircraft maintenance, logistics and aviation administrative services for E-2C and C-2A aircraft assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron 20 (VX-20) at Patuxent River.

"Northrop Grumman has the subject matter expertise on these aircraft to provide true best value to our Navy customer," said Thomas Cavanaugh, Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector's program manager for this contract.

"By selecting Northrop Grumman, the Navy gets a contractor who is committed to superior performance on the program and provides the capability of rapid reachback to the greater Northrop Grumman enterprise."
