ATP Receives Two New PA-44 Seminoles

Part Of Five-Plane Order

If you've spent time around a large general aviation airport in the US, chances are you'll recognize the planes in the picture below. Airline Transport Professionals (ATP) Seminoles are a familiar sight nationwide... and the school recently accepted two more of the twin-engine piston trainers.

Earlier this month, ATP took delivery of two new Piper PA-44 Seminoles, part of a five-plane order announced earlier this year. With two planes already delivered, the school expects to receive the remaining aircraft by August.

Airline Career Pilot Program students fly the multi-engine Seminoles for 140 hours in a nationwide, airline-style training environment. With the addition of these aircraft, ATP's fleet now includes 140 flight training aircraft: 84 Multi-Engine Piper Seminoles, 50 Cessna 172s, 5 Diamond Stars, and 1 Cessna CitationJet.

ATP notes it currently delivers more pilots to the regional airlines than any other single flight school, college, or academy. The company immerses students in multi-engine airline-style flight training over a short time frame. The benefit for the customer is the best training on the market at an extremely competitive price.

The high-powered, high-value, low-maintenance Seminole will continue to aid the company in meeting its strategic goals, according to ATP.
