Flight Training Comes To The iPhone

King Schools Offers Study App

From what seems to be a never-ending quest to find cool things to do with an iPhone comes the ability to now study some of King Schools most popular aviation courses. Choices range from Taming Stalls & Spins, Takeoffs & Landings Made Easy, Communications, Complete Airspace Review or VFR Cross-Country. Each course downloads the video right to your iPhone so you don't need an Internet connection to watch. Search for "King Schools" from the "App Store" on your iPhone or visit King's iTunes store for these video courses.

For those who are not iPhone equipped ... there are also 60 of King's 90+ courses now available in an online format. King Schools says they are the same quality and content of their disc courses, and all you need to get started is a computer and a high-speed Internet connection.

Have a personal flying goal? The online version of King's Instrument Rating Knowledge and Practical courses will work any place you have a computer and broadband connection. Choose from 33 online courses for personal flying.

On up the rating ladder, the online study curriculum also includes Multi-Engine, Part 135 Initial/Recurrent, Oceanic RNP or 27 online courses for pro/turbine.  Learn where you land, with fully automated progress tracking and no installation required.

King says that, no matter how you choose to study, their courses are exactly the same, and will always take full advantage of the power of your computer - or iPhone.  With a stated mission to help you get the knowledge you need to reach your aviation goals, King says they strive to make the learning of complicated subjects clear, simple and fun.
