Air Technology Engines Signs AMC Agreement With Triumph Engine Control Systems

Authorizes Work On T53 Engine Fuel Controls & Governors

Naples, FL-based Air Technology Engines (ATE) has signed an Authorized Maintenance Center Agreement (AMC) with Triumph Engine Control Systems of West Hartford, Connecticut. The agreement authorizes the maintenance of T53 Turbine Engine Governors and Fuel Controls.

Air Technology Engines is a Honeywell T53 Engine Service Center and Component Repair Facility, supporting customers worldwide. The company specializes in T53 engine repair with over two decades of experience. ATE’s extensive capabilities, along with the use of certified Honeywell parts and strong engineering support, will ensure Honeywell's T53 customers receive the best maintenance support available.

The AMC agreement with Triumph Engine Control Systems expands ATE’s T53 accessory shop with a new test bench for the Triumph Fuel Control and Governor. “We are very pleased and excited to be a Triumph Engine Control Systems AMC for the Fuel Controls and Governors,” says Mike Turner, President of Air Technology Engines. “This new agreement will complement our existing Engine Service Center agreement, hopefully bringing more business and jobs to Southwest Florida.”

Air Technology Engines was certified as an FAA Repair Station in 1996. Since that time, they have built a superior reputation worldwide for overhauling and repairing the T53 helicopter engine -- the engine used in Huey UH1, Huey II, Cobra and KMax helicopters.
